Transition FAQ

Will my existing hunts continue to work?

Yes, we will be migrating existing hunts to the new server. Players must upgrade to the new version of Klikaklu in order to play them.

How do I sign into Klikaklu? I've forgotten my password for Klikaklu Creator!

You can use Forgot Password? from within Klikaklu. If you still need help getting signed in, contact us.

Will I need to upgrade my existing hunts to accommodate more users?

Your existing hunts have been grandfathered in for noncommercial use. These hunts will not have limits, within reason.

Have I been signed up for a subscription?

The credit we're providing Premium and Creator customers will not automatically renew, and you will not be billed.

The intent is to show our appreciation and recognition of the change, by providing you with greater value than your one time purchase. (The value of a two year medium size noncommercial subscription is $90.)

I expected a one time purchase. Can I get a refund?

If you aren't happy with the terms of the transition, and wish to stop using the app, contact us and we'll help you get a refund. We do not want our customers to be unhappy.

We wish we could build a sustainable business with one time purchases, but our costs are rising, and Klikaklu is a surprisingly complex system to maintain and improve.

What happens when the subscription expires?

In two years time, you will need to purchase individual hunts or choose an appropriate subscription.

When is an Android version coming?

Once we get through this transition, it's our highest priority. We're aiming for next Spring. If you want to be notified when it's ready, fill out this form.
